My husband Bill does most of the camper maintenance, washing, waxing, fixing! He goes through a lot of products trying different things to see what works best. He is always on the internet researching what products are for a particular job then he will go out and buy the product and try it.
This is what he has found so far. For washing the awning he puts Simple Green in a spay bottle sprays it down, rolls the awning up for a few minutes. Usually 10 or 15 minutes, puts the awning back out he then brushes it with his soft vehicle washing brush on an extension pole and rinses it off. The awning almost looks brand new.
Another job he hates mostly because he can’t seem to find a product that works great is washing the roof. We have a PVC roof so you want a product that works well. Again after a lot of research he found Dicor Products Rubber Roof Cleaner. https://dicorproducts.com/product/rubber-roof-cleaner-concentrate-spray-bottle-refill-container/

His research told him the 32oz bottle would clean a 40’ camper, although he was skeptical it did clean the whole roof. He purchased a small scouring pad with a handle on it to do the scrubbing. This process took a while with a lot of elbow grease but he was pleased with the outcome.
